About Holiday Price Tracker

Why we built this

Holiday Price Tracker started because of a simple frustration: holiday prices change constantly, and there was no easy way to get notified when a deal appeared. Manually checking TUI, Jet2holidays and Haven every few hours is tedious — especially when you're comparing multiple dates, destinations or room types for a family or group holiday.

We wanted a tool that would do the checking in the background and email us the moment a price moved. When we couldn't find one that was free, simple and didn't require an account, we built Holiday Price Tracker.

How it works

You paste a holiday URL from one of our supported providers — TUI, First Choice, Jet2holidays, Haven, Hoseasons, Norfolk Hideaways, cottages.com or Novasol — and choose an alert rule. We check the price every 30 minutes using methods tailored to each provider — for example a GraphQL API call for TUI, browser automation for Jet2holidays, and a direct JSON API for Haven. When the price meets your rule, we send an email with the new price and a direct link back to the holiday page so you can book if you choose.

The service runs on Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure in the UK and Western Europe. No account is needed, no app to install, and the whole thing is free.

Who runs it

Holiday Price Tracker is a personal project built and maintained by a software developer based in the United Kingdom. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any travel provider. The tool exists to help travellers make informed booking decisions — we do not sell holidays, and the price alerts we send are always based on the provider's own listed price.

How the site is funded

Holiday Price Tracker is free to use, and honesty about how it stays free matters to us. The running costs are covered by a small number of adverts shown on the site, and by affiliate links: some links to holiday providers (for example Hoseasons and Glamping Hideaways) are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you book after clicking one — at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships never influence the prices we report or when we send alerts, and we never sell or share your personal data with anyone.

Our commitment to privacy

We collect only the data needed to run the service: your email address, the holiday URL and your alert preference. We don't sell your data, and analytics cookies are opt-in only.
